The VMJR Companies were responsible for removing the interior finishes of the existing office space. The removals not only included interior finishes but also included electrical, mechanical and plumbing disconnects and alterations to the existing systems.
The new floor plan & layout allowed for a better separation between National Grid and the separate tenant space in the existing building. The alterations included masonry removals and infill's to allow for relocation of many doors. New interior hollow metal walls and drywall finishes both fire rated and non fire rated. Included new acoustical ceilings and drywall ceilings and new hollow metal doors and interior hollow metal lights.
Additionally the existing Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire protection systems were reconfigured around the new interior layout and for the separation between National Grid and the other Tenant spaces in the building.
