Project Information
This two school year project consisted of the additions and reconstruction of the Middle School and High School and the renovations of the Elementary School. Construction included site preparation & improvements; selective demolition; concrete work; masonry work; structural framing; rough & finish carpentry; roofing; doors & windows; finishes and classroom casework. All work was completed throughout the school year and while the buildings were occupied.
VMJR completed its work during off hours, on weekends and during school vacations. VMJR coordinated all its work with the school district and other prime contractors to complete the project within the allotted schedule. Work was completed with sensitivity to environmental impacts and impacts on the faculty, staff and students. There were no disruptions to the day to day operations at any of the three schools.
