Project Information
The Science and Technology Library construction was focused on creating a large multistory atrium space with lobby glazed wall fronting an open garden. The building is a precast concrete façade, compatible with surrounding architecture.
While constructing the foundation the neighboring courtyards had to be braced to support the challenging organic material below grade.
The 200,000 square floor facility relieved overcrowded conditions in the old library.
