The VMJR Companies was founded in 1991 with the acquisition of two Capital Region construction companies: Adirondack Construction and Sweet Constructors (formerly Sweet Associates). The VMJR Companies, a New York State Company headquartered in Glens Falls, specializes in providing high quality, professional Program Management Services. Our Project Delivery Systems include General Construction (GC), Construction Management (CM), Design/Build (D/B), and Program Management services in the educational, institutional, industrial, and commercial marketplace.

Adirondack Construction, a 59-year-old company located in Glens Falls, NY, has an extensive background in the successful completion of historic and adaptive reuse of existing structures, commercial renovations and reconstruction projects, as well as institutional construction.

Sweet Constructors, a 55-year-old company has a background in larger institutional and industrial projects throughout the northeast. Sweet has received numerous awards from the American Concrete Institute and the Capital District Masonry Council and the 2000 Award of Merit: Institutional Project in New York State Construction News for work completed thru out the region.

The VMJR Companies celebrated 15 years of continuous service in 2006.
